About CarterGarden
A small app from a small team, made for the garden outside our own kitchen window.
CarterGarden comes from High Key Adventures, LLC. It started the way most garden tools probably should: with a real plot, a short growing season, a cat who supervises everything from the fence line, and a paper notebook that kept getting rained on.
We wanted one place that holds the personal side of gardening: where each thing is planted, what variety it is, when it went in, what the weather is about to do to it. And we wanted the safety question answered properly. Not by a forum thread, but by the ASPCA's actual lists, cited, with an honest "we do not know" when the data is not there.
What we believe
Safety is not a guess
Toxicity verdicts come from the ASPCA only. Ambiguous names ask you to choose. Missing data says so.
Honest about what is built
Features that are planned live on the roadmap, clearly marked. Nothing pretends to work before it does.
Your garden, not our product
No ads, no analytics, no selling data. This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
The name
The badge tells you most of it: a sunflower, the mountains we garden under, and the cat. The pet-safety feature exists because of that cat.
